SCC Set To Convene at Annual Meeting in New York in December

Hear the latest research and innovation in areas such as diversity in beauty, CBD, the microbiome and the future of skin care.

The Society of Cosmetic Chemists' 75th Annual Meeting, which will be held in person Dec. 13-15, 2021, will feature 35 podium lectures covering the latest research and innovation in areas such as diversity in beauty, CBD,  the microbiome and the future of skin care. There is also an exhibition and attendees can take advantage of social opportunities.

The annual meeting, held at the Sheraton New York Times Square, convenes more than 1,200 attendees from some of the top cosmetic/personal care brands and manufacturers. The exhibition will be held December 14 & 15 during the annual meeting.

The Henry Maso Keynote Award on Monday, December 13 is “Historical Review of the Science of Skin,” presented by Howard Maibach of UC San Francisco.

The Frontiers of Science Keynote Award presentation on December 15 is “Phytoestrogens- Controversies and Misinformation versus In Vitro and Clinical Efficacy Evidence,” presented by Edwin D. Lephart, PhD of Brigham Young University.
